Adding error messages to a business rule

Once you define the inputs and conditions for a business rule, you can add its error message.

  1. In the Business Rules step dialog, add a business rule, define inputs and add conditions.

  2. Type the message in the Error Message window.

  3. To add inputs to the error message, click the Insert Value button and select an input.

The value is represented by a number within brackets.

The value's number and the alias appear in the box below the message.

  1. Click OK.
